Mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 3, 7-9 p.m. and spring into summer with Sacred Circle Dance! Whether it’s your first time or you are a seasoned dance enthusiast, all are welcome. Sacred Circle Dance is for all ages, especially the young-at-heart. Each dance is taught beforehand and the music ranges from classical to popular on a global scale. The music will draw you in and the dance will keep you light on your feet. Longtime dance facilitators Debbie and Ryan will be leading us in the dance. The location is the first room on the ground floor.

On Sunday, April 26, after three years of interim ministry, the congregation voted overwhelmingly in favour of calling Rev. Alex Jensen as our twenty-third settled minister. Alex’s passion for connection and dedication to building Beloved Community make him a perfect fit for our growing congregation. Alex's contract begins in August, and we'll welcome him to the pulpit in September. A huge thank you to the Ministerial Search Committee and to all who took part in the candidating week activities!

The Green Sanctuary Group is pleased to announce that on Tuesday, March 31, the federal government announced "Canada's 2030 Nature Strategy" to halt and reverse biodiversity loss and protect 30% of land and waters by 2030, with an investment of $3.8 billion.

Many thanks to those who signed the Nature Canada petition demanding the continuation of funding to "Protect and restore our natural heritage by keeping their promise to implement the 2030 Nature Strategy". Grass roots actions do work!
