The beautiful Dan Forrest anthem "Come find His rest" appeared in two funeral services at RPC last November, those of beloved congregation members Anne Donaldson Page and Irene King. Upon the retirement of a long-serving and beloved chorister Rosedale Presbyterian Church, 129 Mount Pleasant Road north of Bloor (Toronto) requires a new alto/mezzo-soprano member of its professional choral team. SOMMARMUSIK, RPC's annual offering of summer-long special music by its soloists and Director of Music, continues through the month of August with a progressive performance of Henry Purcell's beautiful Ode, "Hail! Bright Cecilia!" written in 1692 for the Musical Society of London's annual St Cecilia concerts.
