GOAL ACHIEVED & SURPASSED!

Congratulations to Christ Church Amherst on surpassing its Say Yes! to Kids 2026 fundraising goal!

Thanks to the generosity of parishioners, friends, and supporters, the team has raised $2,870 in support of its community day camp ministry for children ages 6–12.

This achievement builds on an incredible record of generosity. Over the past four years, Christ Church Amherst has raised more than $15,000 through Say Yes! to Kids in support of ministry with children and youth.

While the team has already exceeded its goal, the campaign remains active through June 30, and additional gifts will continue to support children, youth, and faith formation in the Amherst community.

Goal achieved—and surpassed!

The Cathedral Church of All Saints, Halifax has officially exceeded its 2026 Say Yes! to Kids fundraising goal, raising $5,400 in support of the new Anchor Youth Space Halifax-Chebucto.

Through the support of parishioners, friends, and community partners, this campaign will help launch a welcoming youth-centred space where young people can access mental health supports, build new skills, strengthen relationships, and connect with the services they need to thrive.

The Cathedral has been one of the most faithful supporters of Say Yes! to Kids over the years, and once again their community has stepped forward to make a lasting difference.

If you haven't had a chance to contribute and would like to add your support to the Cathedral's remarkable effort, there's still time to help build on this success:

Thanks to the generosity of this community, Camp Huron has surpassed its original Say Yes! to Kids goal of $25,000. As of today, $26,845 has been raised, making this officially a record year for Camp Huron through this campaign.

Thank you!

Because of this support, more children and youth will be able to experience Camp Huron this summer. And with a full month still to go, we believe even more is possible.

That is why we are setting a new goal: $35,000.

For the rest of the campaign, we’ll be sharing more about the long-term impact of camp, and how a week at Camp Huron can shape confidence, faith, leadership, friendship, and service for years to come.

The impact of camp does not end when a camper goes home. It continues in the lives they lead and the communities they serve.

Help us reach this new goal and make camp possible for even more children and youth.

The Anglican Foundation of Canada is pleased to celebrate the remarkable cross-country ministry of Capella Regalis, whose 2026 Ontario and Quebec tour has been supported through a $5,000 AFC grant.

Last night, the ensemble brought its acclaimed program Sea Songs & Sacred Anthems to Saint George’s Cathedral. The Kingston performances — including Choral Evensong and Thursday evening’s concert — showcased the ensemble’s unique ability to blend musical excellence with spiritual depth, creating an atmosphere that was both deeply moving and joyfully accessible.

The tour continues this weekend in Toronto with several upcoming appearances:

Saturday, May 30 — Sea Songs & Sacred Anthems at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church at 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, May 31 — Guest choir for morning worship at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church at 11:00 a.m.

Sunday, May 31 — Choral Evensong at Grace Church on-the-Hill at 4:30 p.m., in collaboration with the Grace Church on-the-Hill choirs.

Capella Regalis has built a national reputation for forming young singers in the Anglican choral tradition while presenting music of exceptional artistic calibre. AFC is proud to support initiatives like this through the A.E.J. (Ted) Fulford Trust for Sacred Music, strengthening sacred music, nurturing emerging musicians, and building connections between communities across Canada.

The Anglican Foundation of Canada’s Say Yes! to Kids movement has officially surpassed $1 million generated in support of youth ministry across Canada.

What began in 2021 as an emergency response during the pandemic has grown into one of the most successful peer-to-peer fundraising movements in the Anglican Church of Canada—supporting camps, choirs, family ministries, outreach programs, leadership development, and countless opportunities for young people to grow in faith and community.

And the momentum continues.
