AFC resources in action!

📮 A postcard from London:

“This has been an amazing experience that I will take with me for the rest of my life.”

That was the message we received from a young chorister from Christ Church Cathedral Victoria, during the choir’s UK tour.

The Cathedral’s 2026 Say Yes! to Kids campaign raised $12,500, reaching 100% of its goal and helping make the tour accessible to participating choristers regardless of financial circumstance. The journey included Lincoln Cathedral and a residency at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.

The Royal Mail postcard brought plenty of excitement to the AFC office—and offered a simple, heartfelt reminder of what Say Yes! to Kids can make possible.

Three Diocese of Ontario teams raised a combined $12,000 through the Anglican Foundation of Canada’s 2026 Say Yes! to Kids campaign, supporting vibrant ministries with children, youth, and families.

St. Mary Magdalene, Napanee; St. Thomas’ Kingston; and St. John’s Portsmouth each invited their communities to invest in faith formation, belonging, leadership, and hospitality for the next generation.

We are especially grateful to the Diocese of Ontario Foundation, whose generous contribution supported all three teams, helped unlock AFC Angel Donor matching funds, and gave each local campaign valuable early momentum.

Together, these three teams exceeded their combined $9,000 goal and contributed to the strongest national Say Yes! to Kids campaign since the initiative began in 2021.

Say Yes! to Kids reached new heights in 2026!

Together, 24 fundraising teams across the Anglican Church of Canada raised more than $165,000 for local ministries with children, youth, and young adults—making this the most successful Say Yes! to Kids campaign since the initiative began in 2021.

Fourteen teams exceeded their fundraising goals, and every remaining team reached at least 80% of its target. Camp Huron led the campaign, raising more than $42,800.

Behind every total is a community of donors, volunteers, team captains, and local leaders who chose to invest in the next generation. Thank you for helping make this our strongest campaign yet.

Rooted in Faith

Summer has a way of reminding us that the things which endure are nurtured over time. Forests do not grow overnight. Neither do communities of faith.

Across Canada, churches continue to open their doors, serve their neighbours, and bear witness to God's love in countless ways. Through your support of the Anglican Foundation of Canada, you are helping strengthen the roots of that ministry.

Thank you for helping the Church grow in faith and service.

If you are able, we invite you to renew your membership and continue this shared work of nurturing faithful ministry across Canada.
