Melrose Community Church Rooted in truth. Growing in love. We are a small, friendly, diverse church with a big heart for God. Our Baptist roots give us a deep love for the Word of God.

Our vision is to be a Jesus-centred community connecting lovingly with our neighbours. At Melrose you are invited to join a loving smaller community on a journey of spiritual discovery together. Church worship has too often been labeled as boring and irrelevant. We believe the opposite is true and enjoy warm friendships, good ( mostly contemporary) music and helpful Bible teaching. ts give us a deep love for the Word of God, and we’ll be glad to welcome you any Sunday, or to one of our other fellowship opportunities, as we explore this Word for our lives. Our Ministry Team: Pastors Jon & Wayne, Elder Paul, and Pat and Siobhan , serve together with our Deacons and Elder Chris, to serve our congregation and community and help each of us be rooted in the life of God in Jesus and to see the Holy Spirit forming faith and love in all of us. We are grateful to our many volunteers and have many opportunities for those wishing to apply their abilities in a warm community. Melrose began as a Sunday School, begun by 3 women. We love children, and have a nursery and classrooms where volunteers love and teach our youngest members. Children will make friends and feel part of a church family. Children are also welcome to stay with their parents during the service if they prefer.
