Hi peeps,

How are you guys doing? Hope you’ve all been having a wonderful school year so far and also getting ready for the "midterm season" too.

This email is a friendly reminder of our first bi-weekly bible study that will be holding on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 5:30pm-6:30pm. It would be held in the same location: the multipurpose room, on the 2nd floor of the Multi-faith centre, Uoft St. George. Take time out to join us and invite your friends. Refreshment will be provided as usual! Come and be ready to participate. See you all on Friday!

We hope you are doing really well! And hope your first week of classes is going great too?

We write to remind you of our first general meeting holding at 5:30pm on Sept 19th. It is at the Multi-purpose room (on the 2nd floor) at the Multi-faith centre right at Spadina and Willcocks. We would really love and appreciate it if you can find time to attend, it sure wouldn’t be a waste of time.

Ecclesiastes 7:12
For the protection of wisdom is as the protection of money; and knowledge is profitable because wisdom gives life to those who possess it. Wisdom, understanding and knowledge are gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Through His guidance, our school lessons can help us become better members of the community and better able to serve others.

Romans 12:2
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect. The new school year offers an opportunity to renew the mind by gaining knowledge.

We also need to renew our spiritual lives. Spend a few minutes each morning before school in prayer, asking for help to discern the will of God for that day. Be attentive to His voice, guiding you toward actions and thoughts that are pleasing to Him.
