Hi JGCT Families!

I wanted to get the word out about our virtual camp coming up this summer.
COVID-19 has made it really difficult to connect for everyone. But most affected may be young children who often don't socialize independently.
This virtual VBS is an opportunity for kids to join meetings where they matter, they can reconnect with their friends, and the Gospel can inform their identity during these confusing times.

We have two different camps serving Grades 1-8 and 9-12 and will be running from July 5-9.

The camp will take place fully online with a package of materials available for pickup at the church building.

Take a look at these posters for more information and spread the word! If you know any families that may be interested in something like this please pass the information along.

Registration deadline has been extended to April 30th! So please hurry.

After much discussion and research with the Board of elders, board of directors, other church leaders and local governments advisories, we have decided to suspend all Church gatherings hosted at the JGCT church building (301 Silver Star Blvd.) until the end of March. This includes Sunday worship service.

This is due to the ever-changing COVID 19 situation. The leadership of the church will continue to monitor the situation and come up with solutions to how we can continue to do God's work in this changing landscape.

We thank you for your understanding in this matter and please feel free to contact anyone on the Board of elders or Board of directors for any questions or concerns.

We are considering what additional actions we can take to continue to help the church community in their walk with the Lord.

Please continue to check your email for updates and let anyone who may not check their email know of the suspension of service.

We ask that you join us in prayer to seek God’s guidance during this trying time.

“Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”

　みなさま、長老会と理事会は、地方自治体の意向を参考に他の教会のリーダーの方々ともやり取りをして検討を重ねてきましたが、その結果、教会の建物 (301 Silver Star Blvd.)で行われるすべての活動を3月末まで一時的に中止することに決定しました。それに伴い、日曜礼拝も中止となります。

これは、新型コロナウイルス感染症防止対策の一環として行われます。私たち教会リーダーは常に現状を把握するように心がけ、この状況の中でどのように神の働きを続けていけるか、引き続き検討していきます。
この状況におきます皆さまのご理解に、心から感謝いたします。何か質問や疑問がありましたら、いつでも長老会、理事会の方におっしゃってください。
この状況下においても、みなさまが主との歩みを続けていくことが出来ますように、そのために実際何が出来るかを今、模索中です。
