On Sunday, May 31st Agricola church members Walked for Peace to express our compassion for civilians impacted by war. We prayed for Peace. Our thoughts were especially with post-secondary students in Ukraine whose Uncompleted Diplomas forever stand in evidence of the tragic losses.
This was our ELCIC Day of Action initiative.

The consensus after the Toronto Welsh Male Voice Choir concert on Saturday was an unequivocal score of A+. The range of music satisfied every taste and singing entirely "off book" allowed the choir members to engage their hearts and spirits in every phrase. The musical experience was uplifting, climaxing in Finlandia sung in Finnish and Welsh! Diolch yn fawr, TWMVC!

Please join us on Sunday, May 31st for the ELCIC Day of Action, Agricola Church Walk for Peace. Our shortened regular worship service to begin at 11:30 am will include a special prayer for peace in the world. From about 12 noon to 2 pm, members of the congregation and the community will take a walk in the beautiful Hoggs Hollow area. There will be a tent set up in the park just west of the church, where there will be a display called Uncompleted Diplomas with posters of postsecondary students killed in the war in Ukraine. Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and to provide light refreshments to interested passers-by. See you then!
