Today we are called to go forth, sent by the Lord just as the Apostles were, to proclaim the Good News. Having freely received God's gifts, we are invited to share them generously with others through our talents, our time, and our faith. Through acts of kindness, words of encouragement, and faithful witness, we participate in Christ's mission. When we give without seeking reward, we become instruments of His compassion and draw others closer to Him.

Today we celebrate the Most Holy Body and Blood of the Lord—the source and summit of our Christian life. As we receive Holy Communion today, and every day, may we treasure the grace and quiet joy that fill our minds and hearts, for in this sacred moment the Lord draws nearer to us than anyone else ever could.

Today we are invited to contemplate the mystery of God. We celebrate the one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and rejoice in the very essence of God's being: the perfect love that unites the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and draws us into communion with them.

Today, as we celebrate the birthday of the Church, marked by the fire of the Holy Spirit, let us pray for the grace to recognize our deep dependence on God. May the Holy Spirit come upon us and fill us with His gifts of wisdom, understanding, fortitude, knowledge, reverence, and holy fear of the Lord, so that, united in faith and love, we may each fulfill our part in serving the common good and loving God and one another.

Today the Lord is urging us to act. He calls us to step beyond our comfort and to go forth, proclaiming His name and His commandments to all. As we do this, He fulfills the promise spoken at His birth: “They shall call him Emmanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’” And truly, He remains with us always, even to the end of the age.

Today we are called both to love God and to receive His love. Let us remember who we are—Christians—and choose to keep the Lord’s commandments, even when faithfulness brings suffering. If we suffer for doing what is good, God will gently lead us toward eternal joy in His timeless friendship.

Today we are reminded that faith and works cannot be separated. We rejoice in knowing our Heavenly Father through Him who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Following the example of the Apostles and the seven men of good repute, we rejoice in serving one another, serving the Church, and serving God.
