Today, we are reminded that love is the foundation of everything. We are called to love God wholeheartedly, not just occasionally, and to be constant bearers of His love to others in all that we say and do. Today, let us pray for the grace to grow in love each day—for God and for one another—so that His love may shine through us and touch the lives of those around us.

Today, we are reminded that we are dual citizens. As citizens of Canada, we are called to be active, courageous, and morally upright individuals who genuinely care about our country and its people. As citizens of the Kingdom of God, we are called to follow our Lord faithfully, dedicating our hearts, minds, and lives to Him. And when these two loyalties come into conflict, let us always remember that our first allegiance must be to God.

Today, God invites each of us to take part in His heavenly banquet and to become His faithful children.

To be worthy of this invitation, we must follow His Son with all our heart, mind, and soul, putting on the wedding garment of faith, love, and righteousness. This is not always easy, especially when life brings difficulties and challenges.

Yet, in those moments, let us find strength and encouragement in the reassuring words of St. Paul: “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).

With Christ by our side, we can remain faithful to our calling and be ready to share in the joy of His Kingdom.

Today, we are invited to reflect on how an excessive concern for power, wealth, and worldly things can slowly lead us away from God. The Lord calls us to place our energy and our hearts in His service, becoming faithful labourers in His vineyard. Let us pray for the courage and strength to always put God first in our lives and to offer Him the fruits of all that we do, remembering that He is the rightful owner of the Heavenly Vineyard.

Today, we are encouraged to look within ourselves and acknowledge the sins and mistakes of our past that may still weigh us down. The Lord reminds us that there is no sin so great that He cannot forgive. He calls us to turn back to Him, to trust in His mercy, and to follow Him.

Today, we stand with Jesus, the source of eternal love and eternal life. In Him, we find forgiveness, hope, and the strength to begin anew.

Today, the Lord reminds us that it is never too late to turn to Him. No matter how far we have wandered or what burdens we carry from the past, God’s love never changes. He is compassionate, merciful, and patient, always waiting for us and never giving up on us.

Let us rejoice whenever someone turns back to God, enters His vineyard, and receives the fullness of His grace and love. May we remember that, in God’s mercy, it is never too late to begin again.

Today, the Lord calls us to let go of the anger and grudges that imprison and consume us. He invites us to share in God’s joy by forgiving generously—even when we feel justified in our anger.

We pray for the grace to truly mean the words we say in the prayer our Lord taught us: “Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.”
