St. John's Norway

St. John's Norway Welcome! We are a growing community enjoying the Anglican expression of the Christian faith. The current red brick building started construction in 1892.

Each Sunday we gather in-person and online to connect with one another and worship God. Join us as we discover God’s reconciling love made known in Jesus Christ. The church is surrounded on 3 sides by a beautiful cemetery that was first used in 1853. In 1977 it was designated a Historic Site because of some of its distinctive architectural features. The congregation of St. John the Baptist, Norway

represents a range of ages, backgrounds and interests. Worship is normally Eucharistic and includes wonderful organ and choir (adult and children) music. Our Youth and Children’s Ministry is strong and, along with a well run and well
attended Sunday school, is a focal point at each service.

Join us tomorrow at 12noon for Mid-Week Eucharist in our beautiful Chapel. Come and see!

We are marking the arrival of the gift of the Holy Spirit this Sunday at the Feast of Pentecost—which is also the beginning of the Church as Luke describes in the Book of Acts. Nothing says a birthday party like cake and balloons—so be sure to join us this Sunday as we party together! And come wearing red!

We are also celebrating The Rev’d Christine Lambert and sending her off with love and blessings to her curacy at Christ Church Deer Park. Christine will be preaching her last sermon with us on Sunday so be sure to join us at 10:30am and also at The Table at 5pm for that. Come and see!
