🌹 MỪNG NGÂN KHÁNH LINH MỤC 🌹

Đoàn TNTT Têrêsa Hài Đồng chúng con cùng hân hoan tạ ơn Chúa nhân dịp mừng KỶ NIỆM 25 NĂM HỒNG ÂN ngày thụ phong linh mục của Cha Tuyên Úy Đoàn, Cha Giuse Maria Phạm Quốc Thông O.P.
(23.06.2001 – 23.06.2026).

Cùng với Liên Đoàn Kateri, chúng con xin chúc mừng và chân thành cảm ơn Cha vì đã luôn yêu thương, cầu nguyện, đồng hành, và chăm lo đời sống đức tin cho đoàn thiếu nhi chúng con trong suốt những năm qua.

Nguyện xin Thiên Chúa, qua lời cầu bầu của Mẹ Maria, tiếp tục tuôn đổ muôn ơn lành trên Cha, để Cha luôn được bình an, mạnh khỏe và nhiệt thành trong sứ vụ mục tử của mình.

Thánh Lễ Tạ Ơn sẽ được cử hành tại Nhà Thờ St Rose Lima Scarborough vào Chúa Nhật ngày 21 tháng 6 năm 2026, lúc 4:30 PM.

Liên Đoàn Kateri Tekakwitha Ontario hân hoan cùng Cha Giuse Maria Phạm Quốc Thông, O.P., Tuyên Uý Liên Đoàn, dâng lời tạ ơn Thiên Chúa nhân dịp kỷ niệm 25 năm thụ phong linh mục (23.06.2001 – 23.06.2026).

Hai mươi lăm năm hồng ân là hai mươi lăm năm đáp lại tiếng Chúa gọi bằng đời sống tận hiến, cầu nguyện và phục vụ. Xin chân thành cảm ơn Cha vì những hy sinh âm thầm, sự hướng dẫn tận tâm và tấm gương sống đức tin đã nâng đỡ biết bao tâm hồn trên hành trình theo Chúa. Cách đặc biệt cho Liên Đoàn, Cha đã luôn hướng dẫn, diều dắt và nâng đỡ chúng con trong 5 năm qua.

Nguyện xin Thiên Chúa tiếp tục tuôn đổ muôn ơn lành trên Cha, để Cha luôn được bình an, mạnh khỏe và tràn đầy nhiệt huyết trong sứ vụ mục tử.

On April 20, 2026, Cardinal Leo wrote to Prime Minister Carney and all federal Members of Parliament (MPs) in the Archdiocese of Toronto asking for their support of Bill C-218 and decrying the rapid expansion of euthanasia and assisted su***de in Canada. Bill C-218 is a private members’ bill currently before Parliament that would amend the Criminal Code to prevent Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) from being provided when mental illness is the sole underlying condition. Without this change, MAiD will be available for those suffering from mental illness alone beginning in March 2027.

This March, we join Pope Leo in praying for disarmament and peace. Let us pray that nations move toward effective disarmament, particularly nuclear disarmament, and that world leaders choose the path of dialogue and diplomacy instead of violence.

As we celebrate the closing of the Jubilee Year in the Archdiocese of Toronto, we pray:

Father in heaven,
may the faith you have given us
in your son, Jesus Christ, our brother,
and the flame of charity enkindled
in our hearts by the Holy Spirit,
reawaken in us the blessed hope
for the coming of your Kingdom.

May your grace transform us
into tireless cultivators
of the seeds of the Gospel.
May those seeds transform from within
both humanity and the whole cosmos
in the sure expectation
of a new heaven and a new earth, when,
with the powers of Evil vanquished,
your glory will shine eternally.

May the grace of the Jubilee
reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope,
a yearning for the treasures of heaven.
May that same grace spread
the joy and peace of our Redeemer
throughout the earth.

To you our God, eternally blessed,
be glory and praise for ever.

This December, we join Pope Leo in praying for Christians in areas of conflict. Let us pray that Christians living in areas of war or conflict, especially in the Middle East, might be seeds of peace, reconciliation, and hope.
