It's fast approaching - St. George's Annual Bazaar on Saturday, October 24th from 11 am - 2 pm.

It's the 75th anniversary of the first bazaar which was held in 1951.

Come enjoy a traditional luncheon, buy treats at the bake sale, and look for treasures at our display of handmade items. Plus, lots of lovely prizes at the Lucky Draw.

We always welcome volunteers, and donations of baked goods or handicrafts.

But most importantly, please support the church and come on the day!

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

On October 11th we observe the The Seventh Ecumenical Council that met in Nicaea under Empress Irene and Patriarch Tarasius. The Council decreed that the veneration of icons was not idolatry, that the honour shown to the icons passes to the prototype (the person depicted).

Please join us for Divine Liturgy with Father Anton Filchak at 10 am this Sunday.

We also wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

You have an extra day off, so why not join us at church?

September 20th is the Sunday after the Elevation of the Holy Cross.

Come join us for Divine Liturgy with Father Anton Filchak at 10 am.

All are welcome.

Monday, September 14th is the Feast of the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross. The Feast commemorates the finding of the True Cross of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ by Saint Helen, the mother of Emperor Constantine.

The holy day of the Elevation of the Cross has a place of great significance in the church today. It remains with us as a day of fasting and prayer, a day when we recall that the Cross is the only sign worthy of our total allegiance, and that our salvation comes not by "victories" of any earthly sort, but by the only true and lasting victory of the crucifixion.

Please join Father Anton Filchak for Divine Liturgy at 10 am on Monday, September 14th.

09/09/2026

On Sunday, September 13th, we're having a Potluck Luncheon after church. Please join us, and bring a contribution if you can. We'll hear reports from the recent Diocesan Conference too.

Come have a lovely meal, enjoy some time with friends and find out what's been happening in the church. (A donation of $20 would be appreciated.)

Sunday, September 13th in the church hall right after Divine Liturgy.
