If LGBTQ+ communities wish for tolerance, respect and inclusion, that is perfectly reasonable. It is not at all reasonable. or kind, or seemly, on the other hand, to openly mock the religious beliefs of 1.8 billion Christian people around the globe. The Olympic committee has done a very deplorable thing by allowing a performance that made a public spectacle of ridiculing and mocking the inmost beliefs and feelings of a huge global Christian population.
No other faith would tolerate such an abuse. Nor would any secular group. I condemn this clearly intentionally hurtful blasphemy to the strongest possible degree. I will never watch another Olympic event as long as I live. This was unfair, unkind, uncalled for and utterly reprehensible.
