We pray that we will, in all we do, witness to the love of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.
We pray for Luke's peace, comfort and healing, for Sara (his wife) continued strength.
We pray for our children and grandchildren to be followers of Jesus, confident in the Lord and His leading.
We pray that the Mission Department (formerly Program Department) will encourage missional living and service in Germany, Lithuania and Poland

* For the children to smoothly transition to their new home in the UK, and make good friends in their new schools and Corps.
* For Lt Marco and I as we take up new appointments starting September 1st, that we will be open to all the new learning and discerning in how to proceed forward alongside our team.
* For God’s precious creation to choose to turn to God, to live in peace, and to grow deeper in relationship with our Lord.

Jahred and Jessica share: We are thankful for God's provision over us these past 3+ months, progress in our language learning, a growing understanding of our respective roles, our house feeling more like home, making new friends and networking, and settling into the community.
Focussing on Jessica's ministry, we humbly request prayer for the following:
• Continued progress in our Bangla language lessons
• Good health, as many in the office are sick and COVID cases are rising in Dhaka
• (1 Corinthians 12:9)
o For clarity and guidance as I work towards a new Community Development Strategy for the territory and for wisdom and Spirit-led decision making
o To continue trusting and relying on the Lord's strength, and not my own

Jahred and Jessica share: we are thankful for God's provision over us these past 3+ months, progress in our language learning, a growing understanding of our respective roles, our house feeling more like home, making new friends and networking, and settling into the community. Focusing on Jahred's ministry this week we humbly request prayer for the following:
• Continued progress in our Bangla language lessons
• Good health, as many in the office are sick and COVID cases are rising in Dhaka
• (Proverbs 3:6 NLT)
o That our new discipleship initiatives would take off and cement themselves in the hearts of the young people.
o For gospel sharing to be better integrated into project activities

• That we and the corps will be filled with a desire to be faithful, growing disciples of Christ who can effectively serve the community and reach the lost for Christ
• “So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?” (1 Kings 3:9)

• God will open doors for ministry and to have a positive impact on the lives of the people in Freeport bringing healing, hope, and restoration.
• A spirit of humility, a willingness to serve others, and a heart that prioritizes the needs of the ministry
