Kimbourne Park United Church

Kimbourne Park United Church Come, be part of our change and new growth. We don’t have the answers; we'll help you with the questions.

We are authentically trying to be a welcoming, joyful, inclusive, intentional congregation, which celebrates diversity and justice as a member of the United Church of Canada. Located near Coxwell & Danforth, Kimbourne Park is a small community of faith (attendance averaging 30–40), linked to its past, radically progressive in its theology, and daring in its visions of the future. Attracting active

children, young adults and elders; singled and coupled; straight, gay, le***an, transgendered and searching; we are very much alive in the covenant… come and explore your spiritual journey with us.

We couldn’t have asked for a happier time with you for our opening launch party. We are ever grateful for our community and partners, guests and funders.

On this Earth Day:

🌎We pray for the soil and for the earth that moves through seasons of rest and abundance.

🌍We pray for the waters that move and trickle and shape the earth to create rivers and sustaining waters for life.

🌏We pray for the air and the winds that carry pollen, birds and insects that contribute to the richness of life.

🌎 We pray for all living beings and things that migrate, move and adapt to the changing environment and climate

🌎 We pray for human beings - and living things displaced by climate change, weather and flooding and fire and drought and the impact of human greed.

🌍 We pray for the land protectors, the protesters and singers, artists, scientists, lawyers, helpers and givers of time who move with the Spirit to protect our only home.

On this Earth Day we pray and celebrate this beautiful planet we live on together. We recommit our hearts and minds to care and take care of the living things around us. We pray that our Creator would know our gratitude for this gift of life by how we treat the creation around us.

Also, if you’re interested in becoming a volunteer or volunteer coordinator with Garden At Kimbourne our growing season is quickly approaching and we need you! Check it out and join us for the Sunday garden together or the Wednesday garden together sessions!
All experience levels welcome 😃

Come as you are. Palm parade on Sunday, Hot Cross buns Friday and freshly baked bread on Sunday!

As Holy Week begins we hold in tension our desire for peace on earth and our desire to help make that possible.

How did Jesus fed people body and soul? Where are you seeing this kind of ministry in your community? How can you faithfully respond to show that love now?

May your Holy Week be filled with renewed hope and understanding.
