✝️ What is a ጉባኤ (Gubae)?
In our Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo tradition, a ጉባኤ is a sacred spiritual assembly. It is a powerful weekend gathering for our community to encounter the living God through unified prayer, sacred worship, deep scriptural teaching, and faithful fellowship:
• 🙏 ጸሎት (Tselot) – Communal prayer, lifting our voices as one
• 🎶 ዝማሬ (Zimare) – Sacred worship, praising God in our ancient tradition
• 📖 ስብከተ ወንጌል (Sibket-e Wengel) – The proclamation of the Gospel, feeding our souls
• 🤝 ኅብረት (Hibret) – Fellowship, strengthening one another in the faith
