“This is the Gospel, this is the Good News.”

This past Sunday, HeavenBound traced the beautiful story of redemption through Scripture, testimony, and song.

From Isaiah 53 to the victorious Lamb of Revelation 4 and 5, we were reminded that the Jesus we meet in the pages of Scripture is the same Jesus who saves... and this Good News is worth sharing with everyone.

Big Idea: God's Word is good and powerful, and therefore supremely valuable.
Outline:
1) God's word is perfectly good. (vv.7-9)
Question to consider: Why has God given his people his Word?
2) God's word is uniquely precious. (vv.10-11)
Question to consider: What things are you valuing more than God's Word?
3) God's word is profoundly searching. (vv.12-14)
Question to consider: How can we live our lives consciously coram Deo?

Emmanuel Mathi shared from Psalm 139, reminding us of the wonderful truth that all of life is lived before our covenant Creator. What a beautiful way to celebrate all God did during VBS!
