Trust Me

An RT evening devotion

With all the changes that are occurring in the economy, we start to think about how we will survive. How will we make ends meet, what will happen ??!

God calls us to Trust Him!

Trust Him when things are going good.
Trust Him when things are going bad.
Trust Him when things don’t go as planned.

No one knows what the future holds, except God so it is important to
⁃ submit our ways to God.
⁃ allow Him to direct us
⁃ be at peace because the Lord fights our battles and He has NEVER lost
⁃ And in everything , give thanks !

When we trust God, we acknowledge that
• He has greater in store for us!
•That he has all control!
•That He will sustain!
•That He is always present to help!
•That He know best!
We can be reassured that God is the same, yesterday, today and forever, so if we truly believe His word we can find Strength and the courage to carry on through His power.

Scriptures

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Psalm 27:5
For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; He will conceal me under the cover of His tent; He will set me high upon a rock.

Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

Prayer
In the midst of all the chaos, help us to rely solely on You to deliver us and to bring us through! Help us to be faithful servants, anchored, rooted and grounded in your word. Help us to stand firm on the promise that you made to us. That in times of distress we can find safety in YOU. Help us to truly believe that you desire to give us an expected end, not only on earth but in eternity. We thank you for all that you have done and we praise you because you must get the glory after this !
