Evangel Temple Church Evangel Temple was founded in 1927 and had its first building downtown on Bond Street. It’s in our DNA.

Evangel Temple is a caring community of committed believers who are making disciples of Jesus Christ from all people groups (nations) in the temple and from house to house (small groups). Under the leadership of Pastor Bud Williams and the dedication of many, the current location was built at 4190 Yonge Street in 1990. The church was first formed around the excitement of what God was doing in the Pentecostal movement in the early 20th century. Something was happening in people’s hearts and soon a strong thriving faith-based community was established. Many of its original trademarks are still evident today like an enthusiasm to share the message of Christ, an eagerness for prayer, a passion for the worship of Christ and excellent Bible-based teaching. With a rich charismatic history, Evangel Temple continues to show dedication to the work of the Holy Spirit through people dedicating their lives to follow Christ, healing and broken lives being restored. Evangel Temple has taken this legacy and continues to build on it for future generations to take the baton and do greater things for God and reach out to this city and beyond its borders.

Church family, the celebration is in THREE DAYS as Evangel Temple kicks off our 100-Year Centennial Celebration! 🔥
One hundred years of Pentecost — of Spirit-filled worship, of souls baptized in the Holy Ghost, of divine healings, of " Amen!" This body of Christ, and of a God who has never failed us!
From our earliest tent revivals to this very hour, the same FIRE that fell on the day of Pentecost has kept this house burning bright. And this Sunday, we gather to testify: He's still on the throne — and He's not finished with us yet!

Where: 4190 Yonge Street, Toronto
When: Sunday Oct 11, 2026 at 10:30am
Come expecting! Come early! Wear something celebratory — this is a banquet, not a funeral!
🎶 Special Centennial Choir presentation
🙏 Prayer for the next 100 years

Tag three people who need to be in the house!

See you on Sunday!!!
