Every June, more than 300,000 people pour into Montreal for one of the biggest race weekends in motor sport — the Canadian Grand Prix at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
Most ministries don't think of a Formula 1 race as a mission field. We do.
The crowd at Montreal isn't just race fans. It's families on the bridges over the Saint Lawrence, couples walking the metro queues, tourists from across Europe and North America, locals out for a weekend in the sun. People who would never set foot in a church on a Sunday morning will absolutely stop and have a conversation on a Saturday afternoon at the Grand Prix.
That's where we'll be. With Bibles in hand, a few tracts in our pockets, and a willingness to talk to whoever is willing to talk back.
If you're in Quebec, in Ontario, or anywhere within driving distance of Montreal — and you've ever wondered what open-air evangelism looks like at one of the biggest sporting events in Canada — come find us.
