With great joy and gratitude, we invite all parishioners, families, and friends to celebrate the Installation of Fr. Efren Alvarez Pelayo as our pastor on Sunday, October 18 at 11:00 a.m. His Excellency, Bishop Robert Kasun, will preside.

Join us in prayer, thanksgiving, and fellowship as we warmly welcome Fr. Efren and support him as he begins his ministry among us.

Following the Mass and installation, we will gather for a parish potluck in the hall. Bring a favorite dish to share if you are able, and most importantly, bring your presence and spirit of community.

Everyone is warmly invited as we celebrate this joyful new chapter together!

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul invites you to join us for Mass at 7pm on Sept 25 to celebrate the feast of St. Vincent de Paul, followed by fellowship and light refreshments in honor of his spirit of compassion and generosity. All are welcome.

Additionally, our "Bundle Up Weekend" campaign takes place on Sept 19 and 20. The SSVP donation truck will be parked at the back of the church from 9am to 6pm both days to accept donations of clothing, footwear, bedding, drapery, towels, and new toys. Society members will be on-site to assist.

This year, due to our parish’s ongoing transition and limited preparation time, we will not be holding our usual Feast Day festivities. However, we are very much looking forward to marking our 98th Anniversary in a spirit of prayer and fellowship. We invite the whole community to join us as we celebrate the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross:

VIGIL MASS: Sunday, September 13, at 5:00 p.m. (Please note: This is a Vigil Mass for the Feast and does not fulfill the Sunday obligation.)

POTLUCK: Following the Sunday Vigil, stay to share a meal with fellow parishioners in the Parish Hall. Contributions most welcome! IF YOU CAN BRING A DISH OR DESSERT, please coordinate with Claudette Wilson or Karin Doumouras through the Parish Office (416) 421-5225.

FEAST DAY MASS: Monday, September 14, at 7:00 p.m., followed by a light social in the hall.

As we continue our journey of transition, this is a wonderful opportunity to come together in gratitude. We look forward to seeing you there!

Days: Tuesday to Friday
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Closed for Lunch: 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.

We are truly blessed to welcome Fr. Efren Alvarez Pelayo as our new pastor. Let’s show him the heart of our community! Please gather with us in the church basement after the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM Masses this Sunday to offer him a warm greeting and share in fellowship.

Light refreshments will be served.

During the 9:00 AM Mass on the first Sunday of each month, our wonderful kids' choir leads the congregation in singing the first Communion song. Today, they beautifully performed a special, shortened version of "Let Them Praise" by Twila Paris.

WELCOME TO OUR PARISH FAMILY, FR. EFREN!

With grateful and joyful hearts, we warmly welcome Fr. Efren Alvarez Pelayo as the new pastor of our parish.

As he begins his ministry among us, we invite all parishioners to keep Fr. Efren in our prayers. May the Holy Spirit guide him with wisdom, strength, and compassion as he serves our community. May the Lord bless him abundantly in his mission to lead, teach, and shepherd us in faith.

Let us also open our hearts in welcome, offering him our support,
cooperation, and kindness. Together, as one parish family, may we continue to grow in faith, hope, and love under his pastoral care.

PRAYER FOR OUR NEW PASTOR
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of our new pastor, Fr. Efren. Bless him with courage, patience, and joy in his ministry.
