📍Grace Toronto Church (St. Andrews Hall)

The Imprint magazine team is hosting a workshop and poetry reading on the morning of Saturday, Feb. 4th, featuring readings and conversation with our special guest, the poet John Terpstra. John’s poetry is grounded in the ordinary, and characterized by grace and resilience drawn from a deep well of faith.

No professional experience is required to attend! Whether you love to write, or just want to spend a morning with people who do, let’s connect as a creative community and encourage each other in our gifts. Today is our LAST Co-Working Space until the New Year! Each Thursday the GCA hosts a drop-in communal workspace in the St. Andrews Hall upstairs at Grace Toronto for Christians and friends working in creative fields. Quiet conversation is permitted, so if you benefit from focus feel free to bring headphones or earplugs! Expect the atmosphere of a peaceful coffeeshop rather than a library.⁠

(Please note that the venue space for this event is the St. Andrew’s Hall at Grace Toronto, which is reached by a flight of stairs.)⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠

This relaxed evening coffeehouse will feature readings from the issue, refreshments and conversation, and a showcase of musicians from Grace. ✨ Join us for an evening of choral music titled “War Shall Cease, and On Earth Peace.” The Roberts Chorale is the premier vocal ensemble of Roberts Wesleyan University in Rochester, NY, devoted to the study and performance of high-quality choral music from diverse styles, musical eras, languages, and cultures. In addition to major works and classical music, the Chorale delights in inviting its audiences into a spirit of worship through the singing of new music, well-crafted hymn settings, music from the Global South, gospel music, and spirituals.⁠
