Our last TC 2026 speaker is Lorraine!

Lorraine Lam (she/her) is a Chinese-Canadian daughter of a solo parent, with an education in music, sociology and social work. For over a decade, she has worked in Toronto’s Downtown East, walking alongside community members navigating homelessness, drug use, incarceration, poverty, racism, and systemic injustice. Her work is rooted in harm reduction, anti-oppression, and trauma-informed practices, and is continually shaped by the communities she is part of. She is currently a caseworker with Amadeusz, supporting individuals with fi****ms charges during and post-incarceration. She serves on the board of Building Roots and organizes with Christians for a Free Palestine: Toronto, Shelter & Housing Justice Network, and Toronto Overdose Prevention Society. Lorraine also co-authored a chapter in Displacement City (University of Toronto Press, 2022) and was recently nominated for the City of Toronto's Access, Equity and Human Rights Awards. Guided by her faith, she is committed to the long-haul work of systemic change and collective liberation through storytelling, consultation, and community.

Our next TC 2026 speaker is Rev. Dr. Kenneth Foo!

Rev. Dr. Kenneth Foo is the Director for Church Life and Leadership with Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec. Yes, the title is way too long. No, it does not fit on merch. After years of pastoring Chinese Baptist churches across the GTA (and sitting through an unreal number of meetings that somehow always had food), Ken now spends his time hyping pastors, helping churches level up, and asking big, real questions about faith, culture, and leadership in a world that never slows down.

Ken is big on servant leadership, finding your calling, and following Jesus in ways that actually make sense today. He loves working with young leaders and will confidently tell you that “the intersection of faith and culture” is not a traffic jam on Highway 401, even though it absolutely sounds like one.

When he’s not doing ministry things, Ken is a huge movie nerd, book lover, comic book fan, and a big theatre kid at heart who loves live performances. He also loves tattoos and is always down to talk about the meaning behind them (seriously, just ask). Ken lives in Mississauga with his wife Ann, their three daughters, his parents, and their dog, Seven (yes, there’s a story). When he’s not leading, teaching, reading, watching movies, going to the theatre, or planning his next tattoo, you’ll probably find him lifting weights, paddle boarding, or pretending that balancing family, faith, leadership, and pop culture totally counts as cardio.

Meet Hannah - one of the TC 2026 speakers!

Hannah was born and raised in Canada. Growing up with immigrant parents from Hong Kong gave her a rich perspective on both eastern and western culture. She spent 15 years living in Asia as a tent-making missionary, first working in advertising and then starting her own business. Now back in Toronto, she helps build small businesses, especially ones that want to include Christian values. She’s passionate about people, their stories, and how Christ can be an active part of the adventure. She’s the author of Wherever You Go: A Conversation About Life, Faith, and Courage. She enjoys rock climbing and witty one-liners.

Calling all who have a heart to guide and grow others 🌱

We are still in need of team coaches for Teens Conference 2026! The deadline to apply is November 30, 2025!

It’s not about having all the answers. It’s about showing up with presence, prayer, and a posture of listening. When you serve as a Coach, you help cultivate spaces where students can live beyond themselves and take part in God’s renewing work on campus and beyond.

If you have a heart for mentoring and walking with the next generation, we’d love for you to join us.
