Please pray for the repose of the soul of Rev. Claudio Moser, OFM who died on Friday, May 22, 2026. Funeral Mass will be held in Italy.

Fr. Claudio Moser, OFM was 87 years old and in his 63rd year of the priesthood with the Franciscan Friars.

Fr. Moser ministered primarily to Italian immigrants in Canada and the United States.

He was Pastor of St. Jane Frances Parish and Pastor and then Associate Pastor of St. Peter’s Parish, Woodbridge.

He retired to Italy in 2024.

✝️REST IN PEACE FR. CLAUDIO ✝️

We are saddened to announce that Fr. Claudio Moser, OFM, passed into eternal life in the early hours of Friday, May 22nd, in Trento, Italy.

Fr. Claudio served Italian immigrants in the USA and Canada for more than 50 years, 16 of which were spent as pastor here at St. Jane Frances Church from 1983 to 1999.

The funeral Mass will take place on Monday, May 25th, at 3:00 PM Italian Time (9:00 AM Toronto) in Palù di Giovo, Italy

A MEMORIAL MASS will be celebrated for the repose of Fr. Claudio on FRIDAY, MAY 29TH AT 7:00 PM here at St. Jane Frances Church. Please join us!

✝️ RIPOSI IN PACE PADRE CLAUDIO ✝️

Con tristezza annunciamo che Padre Claudio Moser, OFM, è tornato alla casa del Padre nelle prime ore di venerdì, 22 maggio, a Trento, Italia.

Fra Claudio ha servito gli immigrati italiani negli Stati Uniti e in Canada per oltre 50 anni, di cui ha trascorso 16 anni come parroco qui nella Chiesa di St. Jane Frances dal 1983 al 1999.

La Santa Messa esequiale avrà luogo lunedì 25 maggio alle ore 15:00 (orario italiano) nella chiesa parrocchiale di Palù di Giovo.

Si celebrerà la MESSA IN SUFFRAGIO di Padre Claudio il prossimo venerdì 29 maggio alle ore 19:00 qui nella Chiesa di St. Jane Frances. Tutti sono benvenuti!

L’eterno riposo dona a lui, o Signore, e splenda ad esso la luce perpetua. Riposi in pace. Amen.
