Curious about Artificial Intelligence and how machines learn? Join us for a beginner-friendly, hands-on AI & Machine Learning Workshop with Mohammad Abd-Ur-Rehman Chaudhry, a Grade 10 student at Ursula Franklin Academy.

Abd-Ur-Rehman is passionate about AI, assistive technology, sustainability, and inclusive design. His projects have earned Gold Medals, international awards, and recognition at the University of Alberta’s IEEE International Humanitarian Technology Conference, including an Outstanding Presentation Award.

In this workshop, you’ll:
💡 Learn the basics of AI & Machine Learning
🤖 Build your own AI model using Google’s Teachable Machine
🔧 Train and refine your model
🎤 Present your project to the class

Brothers. Nature. Purpose. Highlights Pt. 1 🌲

A few moments from a weekend spent away from the noise, surrounded by the signs of Allah’s creation.

From the road to Killarney, to the water, the trails, the campfire and the conversations in between; this trip was about more than getting away. It was about brotherhood, reflection, and strengthening the bonds between us.

Alhamdulillah for the memories, and for everyone who made the weekend what it was.

Is "quick money" worth the spiritual cost? 🛑

The temptation of the lottery or gambling is real, but the Quran gives us a clear standard: just because something offers a temporary benefit doesn't mean it brings ultimate good. The harm to individuals and society will always outweigh the payout.
