Jesus Is Alive Community Toronto

Last month, our Singles Ministry called ACTS had the opportunity to gather with the whole JIA Canada ACTS for a meaningful and refreshing conference. We were reminded that our marital status does not define who we are, and our identity is found in Christ. We don’t need to pretend, compare, or create an identity just to fit what the world expects, because we already know who we are in Jesus.

Being single is not a season to waste, but a season to embrace. It is an opportunity to know Jesus more deeply, grow in our faith, serve others, and allow God to use our lives for His purpose and glory. May we continue to make the most of this season, not waiting for the next chapter to begin, but faithfully serving Jesus right where He has placed us.

What a difference it can make when we have one heart, one soul, and one mission for Jesus. When we are united in Christ, there is strength in our unity, purpose in our service, and power in our mission.

As we move forward, may we continue to genuinely care for one another and love one another—not only when we gather for Sunday worship, but in every season and in every circumstance. May we never allow our differences to destroy our relationships or weaken our commitment to Christ. Instead, may we choose unity, grace, and understanding as we stand together. May we put God’s purpose above our personal preferences and move forward together, with one heart, one soul, and one mission for Jesus.

Don’t let the battles you’re facing today make you forget who you are in Jesus. He is our Jehovah Nissi, our banner in every battle we face. When the battle gets difficult, we can stand firm knowing that God is fighting for us. Our circumstances may change, but our identity in Christ remains the same. 🙌
