A sacred service including Yizkor, as we honour the memory of loved ones, renew our connection to Torah, and dedicate our beautiful new shulchan (reading table).

Temple Emanu-El mourns the passing of our founding Rabbi, Rabbi Arthur N. Bielfeld, C.M., z”l.

For 33 years, Rabbi Bielfeld guided our congregation with wisdom, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to justice. His leadership shaped Temple Emanu-El and touched countless lives in our community and far beyond.

A wonderful weekend of teen engagement ✨

Friday evening we gathered for a beautiful family service and program celebrating Israel, with our Teen Israel Advocacy .advocacy.group_te Board taking a lead sharing their thoughts and leading meaningful, engaging activities. 🇮🇱

Saturday night, our Grade 6–8 CJLL students brought the energy with an evening full of games, Havdalah, and laser tag fun! 🎯

This is just the beginning of a very busy spring—we can’t wait for what’s ahead!

Yesterday’s Books & Biscotti was truly special. With over 100 guests in the room and another 75 joining online, Cathy Tile delivered a remarkable review of Queen Esther by John Irving.

We also had the privilege of celebrating Cathy’s retirement after 40 years in the field. Having reviewed 25 books with our program, her insight and passion have left a lasting impact, and we were honoured to recognize her with a reception in her honour.
