Nothing could stop our very own Lucy G from walking in YSM’s Winter Walk for Neighbours in Need. While the cold weather and icy conditions made walking outdoors dangerous, Lucy headed to Bayview Village Mall, where she, together with other powerhouse women from our community, raised funds and awareness about poverty in our city. Last weekend, the All Saints and Friends Winter Walk team stepped out in support of Yonge Street Mission (YSM). Together, 22 brave individuals raised almost $10,000 and walked either 1km or 5km, in the freezing cold, to support neighbours in need. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this success! This Christmas, our Philoptochos is once again supporting the Yonge Street Mission in helping families experience the warmth and hope of the season. Deadline to donate is Sunday, December 7.

There are two ways you can help:
• Purchase a Food Hamper for $25 – Each hamper provides a full meal for a family in need this Christmas. Hampers will be on sale during coffee service starting on November 23
• Donate Non-Perishable Food Items – Please bring your items to the collection boxes located in the church or office

Your generosity will make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. Let us come together as a parish family to share Christ’s love and light this Christmas.
