BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Toronto, ON, Canada The official page of BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Toronto The Mandir is a sacred place of worship. Entry is through the Haveli (wooden) front doors.

To preserve its sanctity and ensure worshippers can enjoy the spiritual ambience, all visitors are requested to abide by the following guidelines. Entrance:
There is no entry fee to the Mandir and Haveli. Please take extra care when walking on the marble/granite floors and stairways in and around the complex. Parking & Special Needs:
Facilities are wheelchair accessible. Please park strollers in t

he Haveli. Restrooms are located in the entrance area of the Haveli. There is ample parking on site. The management does not assume any responsibility for vehicles parked on the premises. Dress Code:
All clothing must cover shoulders and knees. Sarongs will be available. Shoes:
Footwear must be removed upon entering the Mandir or the Haveli. Shoe racks are provided. Conduct:
Please refrain from touching or leaning against the delicate carvings, respect all security procedures. The marbled areas in the Mandir are quiet zones. There are designated areas for men and women inside the main Mandir floor during the Aarti ceremony and other religious rituals. Visitors are requested to adhere to these arrangements during the ceremony. Pets and Animals:
Pets and animals are not allowed inside the Complex. (Service dogs are allowed in most areas except sacred spaces used for prayer and meditation.) Food & Drink:
Food or drinks are not allowed inside except in the designated areas. Please discard any chewing gum in the bins prior to entering. Smoking and Alcohol:
Smoking, alcohol, drugs and to***co products are strictly prohibited anywhere in or around the Complex. Filming & Photography:
Videos and photos using a mobile phone – for personal use only – may be taken from ground level outside the Mandir and Haveli, but prohibited inside the building. For event or non-personal use, please email [email protected]. Mobile Phones:
Please switch off or place mobile phones on silent mode prior to entering the Mandir. School Groups and Visits:
For school or group visits, please email: [email protected]. All visitors aged 17 or under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Donations:
Visitors wishing to make donations towards the maintenance of the Complex or to the charity work undertaken by BAPS in fields as diverse as education, environment, social relief, health and preserving heritage are requested to visit the Reception. A tax receipt will be issued for donations over $15. Registered Charity No. 88573 1018 RR0002. Security:
Activities in the complex are monitored and recorded by video surveillance. Please respect all security procedures. Notes: The Management may carry out photography, video recording and/or other monitoring that may feature visitors. The copyright and all other intellectual property rights in these materials rests with the Management or such authorised third party. The Management reserves the right to cancel or alter any visit or close the premises, in whole or part, without prior notice.
