Last Sunday, we gathered to bless and dedicate Simon, Rachel and Tanja as they lead our community in their new(ish) director roles. There were songs, prayers, words of blessing and lots of food, including a princess cake (Sam says it was all that was left at the store but we really think he wanted to send another kind of message - you can ask him what that was).

Hello Everyone! YOU’RE INVITED TO A TIME OF BLESSING!

Please join us this Sunday, June 4th @ 5:10pm at Sanctuary for a special time of worship where we’ll be blessing our new executive leaders as they step into these roles in the community. We will be seeking God’s love, strength, wisdom and grace on each of them.

Afterward we’ll share a potluck so please bring your favourite dish to add to the feast, if you are able! Don't worry if you can't bring anything, there will be plenty.

A big welcome to Simon Beck, our new Executive Director! Simon has been, first and foremost a long time, beloved community member and more recently served on our Board of Directors. But God called him deeper into the life of our community and put on his heart this role of leadership. We are so grateful for God’s wisdom and love for our community in bringing Simon to this place where, together, we can find renewed grace and vision of kingdom living.

A huge thanks to Thea Prescod, Simon Beairsto and Rachel Tulloch, as well as the Sanctuary Board, for leading us through a tumultuous time following Alan’s resignation. We are so grateful for their faithful leadership.

We have a new E.D. in the house! We are pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Beck as Executive Director of Sanctuary.
