We had a fantastic weekend worshipping in Listowel! We were able to come together and celebrate 140 years of The Salvation Army in the community of Listowel, and the CSS was excited to welcome over 40 singers from the corps and community for the massed choir on Saturday evening. The joy and gratitude was plentiful as young and old gathered to praise and give thanks to God for His faithfulness in this beautiful community.

CSS AUDITION POSTING: MAY 8TH, 2026

The CSS is officially looking to fill positions for ALL VOICE PARTS ahead of the 2026/2027 season. Those interested are invited to fill out this form: https://forms.gle/rLkfQwvTSTxexXUP6

We are asking all interested individuals to fill out this application by Friday, May 22nd (by 11:59 pm). After May 22nd, those who are considered for auditions will be contacted to set up an audition date to take place before the end of this season and discuss further requirements.

We understand that the decision to complete this form is a serious one that will require intentional prayer and consideration. We ask that those interested spend time in prayerful reflection as they consider putting forth their time and talents for this unique ministry. If there are any questions regarding this process, please do not hesitate to reach out by sending us a message through social media (Facebook or Instagram) or by speaking to any CSS local directly.

Just Announced: Lt-Colonels John and Brenda Murray, currently serving as territorial secretary for communications and director of international development, are appointed as territorial leaders of the Uganda Territory: Lt-Colonel John Murray as territorial commander and Lt-Colonel Brenda Murray as territorial president of women’s ministries. The appointment is effective May 1, and they will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of colonel.

The CSS is grateful to Lt-Colonel John for his support as the executive officer of this group for the past few years. His dedication to the mission and values of the CSS showed through his constant support and enthusiasm for music ministry across not only our territory, but the continent, and across the Army world. As Lt-Colonels John and Brenda prepare for this move, our prayers and support go with them. We ask that you please keep them and their family in your prayers as they move together through this transition period and prepare to take on these new appointments.
