Among the ruins of her own home, Tetyana sat down at the piano and played.
August 30, 2026. After the Russian strike, pieces of walls, damaged furniture, and things that had recently filled her home lay around her.
And then “What a Moonlit Night” sounded over the ruins.
“Come out, my dear, tired from work,
even for a minute in the grove…”
Tetyana didn’t say what she was feeling. She simply touched the keys of her surviving piano.
For a few minutes, only the familiar Ukrainian melody and her hands above the keys remained.
The music stopped. The rubble was still lying around.
But while Tetyana was playing, it was her home again.

30 серпня 2026 року. Після російського удару навколо неї лежали шматки стін, понівечені меблі та речі, які ще недавно наповнювали її оселю.
А тоді над руїнами зазвучала «Ніч яка місячна».
«Вийди, коханая, працею зморена,
хоч на хвилиночку в гай…»
Тетяна не говорила про те, що відчуває. Просто торкнулася клавіш свого вцілілого піаніно.
На кілька хвилин залишилися лише знайома українська мелодія та її руки над клавішами.
Музика стихла. Навколо так само лежали уламки.
Але поки Тетяна грала, це знову був її дім.
