For more than 100 years, the monks of Toronto Maha Vihara lived in a residence that had far exceeded its lifespan. Replacing this aging building has been a long-standing need for the well-being of the resident monks and the growing community they serve.

With very limited funds, the Toronto Maha Vihara Society courageously began the construction of a new, spacious residence—one that will support the monks’ daily spiritual duties and provide a lasting home for generations to come.

Thanks to the heartfelt generosity of donors from both Buddhist and non-Buddhist communities, 𝟗𝟓% 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞. We are deeply grateful for this incredible support.
