It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Cheryl Sealy yesterday afternoon at home surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held at Peace Lutheran on Saturday, October 28 at 11am. More details to follow. May God's grace give comfort and peace to Anthony, Keia, and Mia at this difficult time.

Mid-week Advent services will be on Wednesdays at 10am and 7pm beginning November 30. There will be Loaf and Ladle Suppers at 6pm.
Christmas Eve Services will be at 4pm and 7pm.
Christmas Day Service is at 10am.

We.mourn with Joyce, Byron, Aaron and the rest of the family at the death of Bob Wilson this morning.
Funeral details will follow in a day or two.
May God give them the strength and comfort of the resurrection...something Bob believed in, died in, and lives again in heaven because of what Jesus won for him and all believers.

This Sunday is our annual church picnic beginning at 10am. The service will be outdoors - rain or shine - so wear appropriate clothing and bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
Hamburgers, hot dogs, and all the fixin's will be provided by the Mission Committee with all donations for your meal going to support the Ukraine relief effort through Lutheran Church-Canada.
There will be a bouncy castle/obstacle course for kids of all ages.

Lent is a season when we take a look at our lives in view of God’s mercy toward us in the sacrifice of his Son for us on the cross. We, in turn, are called by God, especially during this time of repentance and reflection, to be living sacrifices for him, displaying our devotion to him in word and deed. Jesus helps us to see the richness of God’s mercy in his life, death and resurrection.

The services in this worship series for Lent focus our eyes of faith on the meaning behind God’s mercy made manifest in Christ.

These services are held each Wednesday at 10am and 7pm.
