Thomas' Chapel, Silver Creek is a faithful group of Christians that gathers for worship in the Anglican tradition. We meet for worship seasonally, so be sure to check our page for service dates and times. We're part of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa and the Parish of Chelsea-Lascelles-Wakefield. Our historic wooden chapel was built in 1877 and is located in the municipality of Lochaber Partie Ouest, just a short drive east of Gatineau.

Happy New Year from the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa

As we welcome a new year, we give thanks for God’s faithfulness through the seasons just past and for the hope that lies ahead. May 2026 be a year filled with renewed faith, compassionate service, and deepened community as we continue to walk together in Christ.

Congratulations to our sister chapel, Christ Church Poltimore, on their many recent renovations!

Parishioners and community members came together to restore Christ Church Poltimore!

At Christ Church Poltimore, generosity, skill, and teamwork brought new life to the chapel entrance. When water damage revealed decades-old decay, parishioners and community members came together, donating time, materials, and expertise, to restore the roof, ceiling, and even stained-glass windows.

Thanks to this incredible effort, the historic chapel entrance has been beautifully renewed, preserving its heritage and demonstrating that this church is alive and thriving.

Happy Easter!

Today is the Sunday of the Resurrection: Easter Day, and the reading is from 1 Corinthians 19-22.

If for this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied. But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have died.

For since death came through a human being, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a human being; for as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ.

All are welcome to join in our annual Christmas Eve service at 8pm, led by the Rev. Canon John Bridges. Merry Christmas!
