Hello Hilldale Family,
Further to my announcement in church on Sept 6th, I regret to inform you due to an unexpected personal situation, Pastor Pia has resigned from being Hilldale's Pastor.
This was not anticipated or expected by any of us, including her. Bishop Jason will be reaching out to Finland's Seamen’s Mission this week to restart a job posting.

Together we will weather these uncertain waters, paddling in unison for Hilldale.

Kuten ilmoitin kirkossa 6. syyskuuta, minun on valitettavasti ilmoitettava, että odottamattoman henkilökohtaisen tilanteen vuoksi pastori Pia on eronnut Hilldalen pastorin tehtävästä.

Tämä ei ollut kenenkään meistä, ei myöskään Pian, odottama tai ennakoima tilanne. Piispa Jason ottaa tällä viikolla yhteyttä Suomen Merimieskirkkoon käynnistääkseen pastorin tehtävän uudelleenhaun.

Yhdessä selviämme näistä epävarmoista ajoista ja soudamme yhteiseen suuntaan Hilldalen hyväksi.

🎬 Coming This Fall: The Chosen — Season 3
Join us from September through December as we continue the story of Jesus and His disciples with Season 3 of The Chosen!

We’ve journeyed with Jesus through the first two seasons, and now the story continues as the disciples take their next steps of faith, face new challenges, and learn what it truly means to follow Jesus.

Season 3 takes us deeper into the lives of Jesus and those who followed Him — bringing moments of faith, friendship, struggle, courage, miracles, and hope to life.

📖 Come watch. Come reflect. Come discuss. Come experience the story together.

Throughout September–December, we’ll be showing the episodes of Season 3, with a Facebook Event for each evening so you can find the date, time, and details for each episode.

Whether you’ve watched The Chosen from the beginning or this will be your first time, you are welcome to join us!

🍖 This Sunday — Bilingual Service & BBQ
Join us for our bilingual service, followed by a BBQ and a time of fellowship. Come worship with us and stay for some good food and great company!

🥞 Grandparents’ Day Celebration
The following Sunday, we’ll be celebrating Grandparents’ Day with a pancake breakfast after each service. Bring your grandparents and celebrate this special day together! ❤️
