Glory be to Christ!!! ❤️❤️❤️

On Saturday 29 August 2026, the LM-A Synodical Assembly voted unanimously to recognise altar-and-pulpit fellowship with the Lutheran Church Canada. Those present rose to sing the Common Doxology as a sign of our joy and thanksgiving to God for our common confession. LCC President-Elect David Haberstock witnessed the completion of the fellowship agreement signed by President Tim Teuscher at the LCC Convention of Synod earlier this year. We praise God for the ministry and the mission that has been conducted in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ up at Round Lake in Northern Ontario by Pastor Gerald Luck and his team from LAMP ministries. It was a joy to have them come and share how their trip went, and how the gospel is being spread and fostered amongst the native indigenous people in Ontario. We pray for them and ask that you too would please keep them in your prayers as they travel back to southern Ontario and pray that God‘s word would flourish and not return empty through what they have conducted by God’s grace in their time there. Today was bitter sweet. Bitter because we said farewell to Jared and Daytona from our congregation. They are moving to Saint Catherine’s , ON. as Jared has been accepted to study and discern his calling towards the Office of the Ministry. Sweet because we rejoice in what we have received from Jared and Daytona in their time here as members of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. They are both so gifted and we rejoice with the Holy Spirit as we know they will bless the church wherever they go.

Jared and Daytona. May the Lord bless you and keep you now and always as you discern the call into formal ordained ministry in the Lutheran Church Canada and you have all our prayers and full support as you seek to serve the wider church wherever the Lord leads you.
