We are delighted that Bianca Garofalo, owner of the wonderful Bight Restaurant and Bar in Thunder Bay, Ontario, recently provided Consortium Aurora Borealis with a $100 gift card as our Early-bird Subscriber Draw Prize once again! We appreciate that so much, and had a few more people entered this season than last.
The lucky winner was John Walas, an ardent fan of Consortium. He was delighted to have won. We include his photo in front of the entrance to the restaurant, along with Consortium President Hilda Postenka, who congratulated him on his win. John provided us with a few remarks to go along with the photo. I give you both here. Here’s the lovely testimonial he wrote, at my request:

Bight Restaurant and Bar is a delightful place, with wonderful food, lovely ambience, and is located right on the Thunder Bay waterfront. Bight has faithfully been supporting Consortium Aurora Borealis for many years, through gift certificates as ballot prizes.
