איזה שבועיים מהנים ומלאי פעילות היו לנו בצהרון חי אפטר סקול! 🎉

בשבועיים האחרונים שתלנו עגבניות משלנו 🍅 ולמדנו על צמיחה, אחריות וסבלנות.

במועדון הבישול הכשר הכנו פנקייקים אווריריים וטעימים 🧑‍🍳
ביום רביעי נהנינו מפעילויות מים מרעננות בחוץ 💧

במהלך השבועות האחרונים למדנו גם על הנביא יונה ועל סיפורה של אסתר המלכה האמיצה 💗

כמו תמיד, היה כיף ללמוד, ליצור וליהנות יחד ✨

What a fun-filled two weeks we had at Chai After School! 🎉

Over the past two weeks, we planted our very own tomatoes 🍅 and learned about growth, responsibility, and patience.

In Kosher Cooking Club, we made fluffy and delicious pancakes 🧑‍🍳
On Wednesday, we enjoyed outdoor water activities and lots of summer fun 💧

We also learned about the prophet Yonah and the story of the brave Queen Esther 💗

As always, it was wonderful learning, creating, and having fun together ✨

שנה מיוחדת הגיעה לסיומה - ואיזו דרך יפה לחגוג אותה יחד ✨

בשבוע שעבר נפגשנו לאירוע סיום מיוחד כדי לסכם את השנה שעברה על ילדי חי אפטר סקול וחי היברו סקול.

דוד רופי, נציג התלמידים, שיתף בשם הילדים את החוויות, הזיכרונות והרגעים המיוחדים של השנה החולפת 💛

הילדים ריגשו את כולנו כשהציגו בשירים ובקטעים מיוחדים טעימות ממה שלמדו לאורך השנה – החל מרכישת השפה העברית, ועד לערכי היהדות, המסורת והחיבור לקהילה 🎶📚

זו גם ההזדמנות לומר תודה גדולה לצוות המורים והמחנכים, שליוו, השקיעו והעניקו לילדים שנה מלאה בלמידה, ערכים וחוויות ❤️

והזדמנות להזכיר – ההרשמה לשנה הבאה עדיין פתוחה, ומומלץ לשריין מקומות כבר עכשיו!

A special year has come to an end - and what a beautiful way to celebrate it together ✨

Last week, we gathered for a special year-end event to celebrate the incredible year our Chai After School and Chai Hebrew School students had together.

David Rophie, representing the students, shared memories and experiences from the past year on behalf of the children 💛

The students moved us all as they performed songs and presentations showcasing what they learned throughout the year - from building their Hebrew language skills to learning Jewish values, traditions, and strengthening their connection to community 🎶📚

This is also an opportunity to thank our amazing teachers and staff for their dedication, care, and commitment throughout the year ❤️

And a reminder - registration for next year is still open, and we encourage families to reserve their spots soon!

ערב של כאב, תקווה ובחירה בחיים 💛

אתמול זכינו לארח את אבידע בכר לערב מרגש במיוחד – ערב של רגשות מעורבים. מצד אחד, לשמוע את סיפורו האישי ואת סיפורה של משפחתו מיום ה־7 באוקטובר, ומצד שני, לפגוש סיפור מעורר השראה על בחירה בחיים גם מתוך הכאב.

אבידע שיתף בדרכו המיוחדת את סיפורה של קהילת קיבוץ בארי, והיה מרגש לשמוע איך גם מתוך טראומה ואובדן אפשר לבחור להמשיך קדימה, לבנות, ולמצוא משמעות.

תודה לאבידע שעשה את הדרך עד אלינו ושיתף אותנו בסיפור כל כך אישי ומשמעותי ❤️

An evening of pain, hope, and choosing life 💛

Last night, we had the privilege of hosting Evida Bachar for a deeply moving evening — one filled with mixed emotions. On one hand, hearing his personal story and the story of his family from October 7th, and on the other, hearing an inspiring message about choosing life even through unimaginable pain.

Through his unique perspective, Evida shared the story of the Be’eri community, and it was incredibly moving to hear how, even through trauma and loss, it is possible to choose to move forward, rebuild, and find meaning.

Thank you to Evida for making the journey to be with us and for sharing such a personal and meaningful story ❤️

עוד שבוע מהנה ומלא חוויות לבני הנוער שלנו 🎉

ביום ראשון יצאה קבוצת הבר מצווה של מרכז חב"ד לדוברי עברית למשחק של קבוצת ה-Blue Jays ⚾
החברים נהנו מזמן משותף, חוויה ספורטיבית ואווירה כיפית ומגבשת.

ואתמול נפגשה גם קבוצת ה-CTeen לערב מהנה לבני נוער יהודיים, עם משחקים, חיבור והמון שמחה יחד ✨

כמו תמיד, כיף לראות את בני הנוער שלנו נפגשים, מתחברים ויוצרים חברויות משמעותיות 💛

Another fun and exciting week for our youth groups 🎉

On Sunday, the Bar Mitzvah Club from the Chabad Hebrew Community Centre went to a Blue Jays game ⚾
The boys enjoyed spending time together, sharing a fun sports experience, and building friendships.

And last night, our CTeen group gathered for another enjoyable evening with Jewish teens, filled with games, connection, and lots of fun together ✨

As always, it’s so special to see our teens connect, grow, and build meaningful friendships 💛
