Hey Vaughan friends!! A friendly reminder that Communion is happening THIS Sunday! Please remember to bring your food donations :)

Lent is often a time of reflection and a time when individuals decide to give something up. But it can also be a time of giving. Consider giving food to the food bank by bringing items from the list, as you come for communion.

According to Feed Ontario, between January 2022-September 2022, food bank access increased by 24% from previous years. Food banks are seeing an increase in new families and individuals accessing the foodbanks. Help ensure there is enough food for every neighbour that visits the food bank by bringing in items from the list, as you come for communion.

🇺🇦 | Many of us have been at a loss for words as we watch, listen and read the devastating events that are occurring across the world. At a time when we want so much for God to intervene and protect those who are innocent, the words we know and think don’t seem to encompass the emotions we feel filling up inside our hearts. Whether it’s anger, sadness, pain, despair, hopelessness - may God’s mercy lift even the faintest prayers you have today.
