Thessalon Church of Christ

Thessalon Church of Christ Thessalon Church of Christ is a small congregation located in Thessalon, ON. We are affiliated with the churches of Christ. Everyone is welcome!

We believe that this world was created by a loving God and it has since fallen into sin and rebellion. We each participate in this rebellion but through repentance and a saving faith in God's son Jesus we can all be set free from our bo***ge to sin and death. We are baptized into a church family that seeks to become an authentic community of disciples of Jesus and we would love to help you in that

pursuit as well. We believe that the Bible is authoritative and is God's word to us through the testimony of the Holy Spirit. We have a small informal Bible Study class on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm. We meet on Sunday mornings at 10 am for a time of Bible study for adults and Sunday school classes for children of all ages. We then have a time of worship at 11 am. Our service is casual and in accapella style (without instrumental accompaniment).

Worship Service will be relocating for the months of July and August (minus the August Civic Holiday Family Ball Tournament weekend).
When: Sunday morning at 10:00 am for July & August
Where: Little Rapids Community Park gazebo (5 minutes from the building).
How: North on Hwy 129 to the Little Rapids turnoff (~5km). North on Little Rapids Road until you get to the park on your right (east).

Terry and I had a great time watching Paxdon Parade this past Wednesday night. Forty-nine years ago, I paraded on the very parade square he did. It brought back so many wonderful memories. Paxdon’s deportment was excellent. His uniform was impeccable and his boots were highly shone leading him to win the Golden Boot Award. He represented himself and his Air Squadron with a high level of professionalism and pride. He is well on his way to his goal of being a pilot. We can all be very proud of him. Keep up the great work Paxdon!

Well, after many months of COVID-19 lockdown, Ontario is starting to open up. We're happy to say that our congregation got to meet in person, at an outside, covered venue this past Sunday. Many thanks to James and Lori MacFarlane, the Municipality of Huron Shores and our minister, Chris Wright for helping to us put this together with all approvals in place. We had a wonderful time worshiping our Lord at the Little Rapids gazebo and respecting all health requirements. We are an a ca****la congregation, so we all had our voices with us to enjoy worship through singing together. Thank you dear Father for of of your love and blessings!
