What is a little mud or rain for a Pathfinder? Well, if you have been a Pathfinder, you know that your camporees will have some sort of weather event… this past weekend, I enjoyed being back home in my Southwestern Union of Seventh-day Adventists, at Lake Whitney Ranch spending time with 5K of my friends at the Southwestern Union Young Adult/Youth Ministries Pathfinder Camporee “Rise”… I will dub this the Mud Camporee!! The Conference leaders and Pathfinders came and braved the elements the whole weekend… they did not stop praising the Lord in the midst of the storm… a little mud and rain could not stop the blessings from these camporee!! God showed up and many PF responded to the call and got baptized… overall, a camporee for the books!!

Love this!!! Backstory: This club was my first club as a pastor back in 2003!! I was called to be a youth pastor at Central del Valle in McAllen, TX and I have a soft spot for this church and people… some of my “youth” are here in this video as parents and leaders of
The club!! Wow but this is the cycle of life and ministry… it’s great to see Maranatha Pathfinders still going strong !!! The Lord is good!

Lake Union Pathfinder Camporee was an amazing experience! Big shoutout to all the leaders, club directors and volunteers… the ministry to these Pathfinders will resonate until Jesus comes! The activities, the worship moments, the music and specially the atmosphere was a blessing. We had great weather (a little chilly, but LUC can handle that) and we had great fellowship. Also, it was good to be there to celebrate the ministry of as he moves into another phase of life… retired but never away from ministry… 47 years of leadership and we all agree that Pathfinders has been impacted by his leadership, even worldwide. started under his vision and leadership and many other things. May God continue blessing him and the as they continue serving
