NEWS: Center for Youth Evangelism Appoints Pedro Perez as International Pathfinder Camporee Director

The Center for Youth Evangelism has officially appointed Pedro Perez as the new International Pathfinder Camporee director. He steps into the role succeeding Ron Whitehead, who provided visionary leadership as both the CYE executive director and International Pathfinder Camporee director for 29 years. Perez brings to the CYE a wealth of experience, most recently serving as the Pathfinder and Adventurer director for the Florida Conference since 2017.

Spent last weekend at in Saskatchewan, 🇨🇦 with over 500 Adventurer families and Pathfinders at their 2026 Adventurer and Pathfinders camporee… 9 years earlier I had visited this same camp and God has blessed the efforts and faithfulness of His people. Club ministries is exploding in and it shows because even the president of the conference, Pastor Charles was present all weekend, in his uniform, helping with the sound and media!! What a guy Pastor Charles is, what a servant!! But not only him, but pastor Oscar and pastor Anika, who behind the scenes makes thing work… the leaders and coordinators that are pushing hard and planning and supporting all the churches… from 7 clubs about 3 years ago to 23 and growing!!! God is on the move!! It snowed and it was cold, but the Adventurer families and the Pathfinders braved the elements… you know, like true Canadians 😜 and had a fabulous time. I am sharing a few moments of the fancy drill team…they “ate and left no crumbs” 😂
I was blessed to be cold with them and share songs and memories. May the Lord bless as they keep striving to make Him known to all in their conference
