Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus. This Sunday I’ll be sharing on, ‘The Job of the Holy Spirit?’ Acts 1:8 Jesus said, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Is the Holy Spirit still on the job in 2023? Many people have Jesus as Saviour and Lord but do we have the power of the Holy Spirit to enable us to handle the problems in today’s world? I believe the day of signs and wonders is today and we are still well able to be filled with power from on high.
Our name’s not Dairy Queen but we have great Sundays.
This Sunday's service is at 10:30 at Spanish River Community Center, 1842 King's Road. We will be having Communion this Sunday.
Come early for a time of Fellowship… we will be offering tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juice and water from 10:00-10:30 as we encourage people to come and spend some time fellowshipping with fellow believers before the service. People have been enjoying this and getting to know each other better and meet new people. Come and join us!
We also have a Prayer Room (in the kitchen) from 10:00-10:15 where you can come and pray for God’s anointing to be on the service.
There is a Toddler's Room during the message for ages 1-4 with Getta Murphy.
There is also Kidz Zone for ages 5-11.
The Ladies and Men's Bible Studies meet on Mondays at 7:00 at the Centre.
The Church Bible Study is Wednesdays at 7:00 at Spanish River Centre.
Mid week Bible Study is growing in numbers as we look at Bible insights into the storms of life. This coming Wednesday Pastor Bruce will be sharing his insights into the storm created by the sudden loss of his only brother in a house fire and within fifteen months the loss of his Dad and Mom.
There is a Teen/Young Adult Bible Study with Anndelynn Carroll teaching ages 12-18. This will also be held on Wednesdays, 7:00 at Spanish River.
We do have more parking a 3 to 4 minute walk away at Mahoney’s and it would be very helpful with our parking situation for those who can to park there.
