It's Camp weekend! We're excited to hang with you all at camp this weekend, remember that our first event is chapel tonight at 7pm MB time... we're starting promptly at 7, and looking forward to sharing stories of God's goodness!

Hi church family, this is a good opportunity to donate towards flood relief in our community. Thank you to Swan Valley Co-op!

🤝 Rallying for our community!

Flooding has impacted families in the Minitonas area, and we want to help. We're proud to be part of Co-op Helps and right now, that means collecting monetary donations to support those who need it most. Update: We're expanding our support. Anyone impacted by the flooding across the Valley are now included in this campaign too. Donations collected will go toward helping all affected communities get back on their feet.

We've had members of our community reach out wanting to help so we're making it easy to do just that!

Swan Valley Co-op will be MATCHING donations up to $5,000! 🎉 Every dollar you give will be matched until Tuesday, June 16, so don't wait!

All funds raised will go to the Elbert Chartrand Friendship Centre to purchase essential supplies like food and cleaning products for those affected.

The last 48 hours have been devastating for our community in Swan Valley. Our hearts out with our church family members and friends and neighbours who have been impacted and experienced loss from flooding. Please continue to pray for the protection and wellbeing of our community, and for water levels to recede�

Thank you to all the local government officials, public works workers, emergency workers, and community volunteers who have worked selflessly to keep our residents safe and to lessen the destruction of the flooding. The strength of our community really shines in moments like these!�

All families from our church are safe, although some have experienced flooding in their homes, and others are temporarily displaced from their homes. If you are willing, there will be opportunities to help each other with cleanup efforts as soon as safe travel becomes possible. At this point we fully intend to host church at Solid Rock on Sunday, and there has been no discussion yet on changes church camp on June 29-21 at MLBC. We’ll be able to give that more meaningful consideration as the situation stabilizes.
