Another year, another FUN IN THE PARK event!
Free, and open to everyone.
Bring a camp chair, and stay for some fun.
There will be lawn games, fake tattoos, free BBQ and freezies, local resources, some gift card draws and lots of laughs and fun!!!
July 2 from 11-2 at O’Connell Park
Town of Sussex will be hosting a foam party from 11-1 in the green space by the washrooms.

April 16th saw a great gathering of our supportive community partners to our location as we unveiled several new funded initiatives we are excited to commence here at The Salvation Army:
Tri-Support (a 3 prong response to homelessness) $40,000 over the next two years from United Way Maritimes, Sage Thyme (senior lunch and learns) $12,000 from the Department of Education and Social Development, $10,000 from Food Banks Canada for specialty diets and culturally appropriate foods, $2200 from Horizon Health for our ongoing shower program at the Nutrien Civic Centre.
We are so thankful for grant providers who believe in the work we are doing here!
