Summer Program Year 2026🌸☀️

We are excited to announce that it is time once again for our Summer Program at The Salvation Army – Surrey Ministries! 🎉

We are looking forward to another fun-filled summer full of learning, creativity, friendship, and unforgettable memories for the children. Our goal is to provide a safe, caring, and welcoming environment where children can grow, explore, and enjoy their summer break. ❤️

A Christian influence will help guide and direct our programming through positive values, kindness, respect, and community connection ✝️

🌞 Summer Program Details
Our Summer Program will run for 9 exciting weeks, from June 29 – August 28.
📅 Week 1: June 29 – July 3 🦁 Spectacular Safari
📅 Week 2: July 6 – July 10 🐝Pollinator Power
📅 Week 3: July 13 – July 17 💦Water Warriors
📅 Week 4: July 20 – July 24 🌎Earth Explorers Week

📅 Week 6: August 3 – August 7 🌱 Garden Kick Starters
📅 Week 7: August 10 – August 14 🌞 Adventure Quest

⏰ Program Hours
Summer Program: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Before Care: 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM
After Care: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

💲 Program Fees & Availability
➡️ Summer Program: $80 per week, per child
➡️ Before & After Care: $30 per week, per child

✅ To reserve your child’s spot, payment must be made at least 2 weeks before the respective program week.

We also recognize the importance of food security for families and children. Nutritious snacks will be provided daily to help support children’s well-being throughout the program 🥪🍓💛

Today was a wonderful day at The Salvation Army Surrey Ministries Seniors Program! 🙂

A heartfelt thank you to Linda Annis, Mayoral candidate and City Councillor, along with council candidates Janet Brown and Debra Antifaev for taking the time to visit, connect, and spend meaningful moments with our dear seniors today as our guest speakers.

Your presence, conversations, and genuine care brought so much joy and encouragement to our community. Thank you for supporting and valuing the lives and stories of our seniors. 🙏🏻🙌🏻

Job Description:
POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY:
Work cooperatively as Summer Students with the staff of Surrey Ministries to promote holistic care for families within Surrey and lead biblical games, crafts, and stories. Engage with program participants in ways that represent our values of dignity, service, stewardship, and hope. Design, plan, promote, and implement a summer day camp enrichment program, including specialized programming for kindergarten, elementary, and youth. Build relationships with and provide competent supervision to & youth, collaborating with our other staff and volunteers to make our camp a positive and inclusive experience.
