Victory Family Church Surrey Official VFC Surrey page to share, celebrate, and testify our Lord Jesus Christ We are the family of Victory Family Church Surrey.

We formerly met at Burnaby before moving to our current location at Surrey in December 2007. Since our move, God has enabled us to meet the various need of this community here at Whalley. We have witnessed God's transformation power taking place in this community; broken lives restored, family members reunited, the Gospel preached to the poor, healings, miracles and spiritual birth place to many.

We know there is more to come, simply because God is with us! Welcoming people of different walks of life to join us in growing to love and serve Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Happy Resurrection Week! Because Jesus lives, so will we!

Last Sunday the message was titled: Never be put to shame.

Key Passage: Romans 10:5-11

9And what is God’s “living message”? It is the revelation of faith for salvation, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will experience salvation. 10The heart that believes in him receives the gift of the righteousness of God—and then the mouth confesses, resulting in salvation. 11For the Scriptures encourage us with these words:
“Everyone who believes in him will never be disappointed.”

1. We receive salvation not through of our good works or that we deserve it but Scripture says “while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”, it is by His grace and through our faith.

2. A true saving faith is a faith in action - James 2:17 says faith without action is worthless. Our believe must not be void of action — if Jesus is Lord we must know and follow His words.

3. Those who believe in Him will not be put to shame. That is His promise.

Lord Jesus, thank you for the price you paid on the cross, your death and resurrection because of your great love towards us, knowing you is eternal life. Help us to live this day fully and truly for You. Amen.

Have a blessed week and see you Sunday at 10:30am!

Good morning Church,

As we are continue in the theme of Fearless Faith and Victorious Living, be reminded the most repeated command from our LORD to us is “do not be afraid”.

Do not be afraid. “For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.” -2 Tim 1:7

Wisdom calls. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.

Have a victorious week.

Good Morning Church,

Today is Ash Wednesday, it also marks the start of Lent. A 40-day observance where Christians worldwide would enter a season of examining our lives, repentance, fasting and prayer, almsgiving and preparing ourselves for Resurrection Sunday (Easter), where Lent culminates. We sense that the Lord is inviting us to draw nearer to Him and to come up higher, to fast and pray for an awakening/revival for ourselves, the church, our city and nations.

"Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.” Acts 3:19-21

A few scriptures to meditate on: Psalms 139, Matthew 26:41, Zechariah 12:10, Joel 2:15-17

Miracles of Hanukkah (Dedication) - Ps Daniel Goh. 231203

Hanukkah is a Hebrew word for “Dedication”.

Yeshua celebrated the Feast of Dedication (Hanukkah) when He was on earth. John 10:22

History: The Maccabees Revolt

This event happened in 167-160BC, under the Greek Seleucid rulership, a family of priests (Maccabeus) became indignant because their temple were being desecrated by offerings to Zeus and their observances being refused. So Judas Maccabeus led a small troop to take arms against a formidable Greek army, and the Lord gave Israel the victory. As they cleansed and rededicated the temple, one of the temple rites was to light the menorah and keep it burning (Exo 27:20). They soon found themselves in a situation, there was only enough oil for one day, but they still lit it out of obedience! Our faithful God in His goodness performed another miracle, by sustaining the oil for another 7 days until they’ve extracted a new batch of pure olive oil!

Miracle of Hanukkah happens when we take the step of faith to rededicate and obey Yeshua.

God takes the little that we have, given to Him in faith, and multiplies it.

Day 7: Let there be light. 💡

https://isaiah62fast.com/ May 7-28. One more week of prayer and fasting. Find out why and resources to pray for Israel here.

We urge all the ministries engaging in our global solemn assembly (May 7-28) to take regular offerings to support our Jewish brothers and sisters in Israel and in the nations. Ask the Lord to show you which Jewish  ministries to give to and then contact them directly.

Church will be open for prayer and worship tonight 7pm-9pm, and for the next two weeks.

Continuing in the manner to draw near to seek what is in His heart. The Lord to continue to shift and move the church. The last I have heard the number of people joining together globally to fast and pray, in their respective communities and churches is more than 100 millions. Last week the Lord meet us in a very unique way at a church. There is the presence of God. There is tears. Many are awaken to Israel's place with the church.

I encourage you to come with a expectant heart. Come worship the King.
