Praise the Lord! We just finished our sermon series on the book of Ephesians. This is such a precious letter from Paul the apostle to the church in Ephesus - In his last days imprisoned in Rome he encouraged the believers to Sit in their identity in which Christ has accomplished for us, to walk in the manner worthy of His calling, and to Stand firm on the evil days by putting on the full armor of God.

1. Always remember that there is nothing that can separate us from the love of Christ. Who has blessed us with every spiritual blessings, chosen us before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless, predestined us to adoption as sons and daughters, redeemed us through His blood, obtained an inheritance, and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.(Ephesians 1-3)

2. And just like any relationship, it takes two to tango, we response to what Christ has done for us by walking out our salvation in a manner worthy of His calling. Details in (Ephesians 4-5).

3. Also know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the full armor of God: Truth, righteousness, gospel of peace, faith, salvation, word of God, and pray at all times. (Ephesians 6)

In Christ is every victory and may you be strengthen with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.

Happy Resurrection Week! Because Jesus lives, so will we!

Last Sunday the message was titled: Never be put to shame.

Key Passage: Romans 10:5-11

9And what is God’s “living message”? It is the revelation of faith for salvation, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will experience salvation. 10The heart that believes in him receives the gift of the righteousness of God—and then the mouth confesses, resulting in salvation. 11For the Scriptures encourage us with these words:
“Everyone who believes in him will never be disappointed.”

1. We receive salvation not through of our good works or that we deserve it but Scripture says “while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”, it is by His grace and through our faith.

2. A true saving faith is a faith in action - James 2:17 says faith without action is worthless. Our believe must not be void of action — if Jesus is Lord we must know and follow His words.

3. Those who believe in Him will not be put to shame. That is His promise.

Lord Jesus, thank you for the price you paid on the cross, your death and resurrection because of your great love towards us, knowing you is eternal life. Help us to live this day fully and truly for You. Amen.
