Hello LAMP friends;
We're writing today to announce that we are finally returning to AN OVERNIGHT LAMP WEEKEND. This is the first since 2019… hard to believe it’s been 3 years since we met. We had to cancel 2020 within 48 hours of its start as most everything shutdown on a grand scale that very weekend in March 2020.
We have been able to host a few very significant LAMP daytime events during Covid but there’s nothing like an overnight gathering. The experiences it affords – to begin or deepen spiritual growth and nurture relational foundations is unparalleled.
As you have probably experienced at your local church numbers have certainly fluctuated during these days and given that it has been 3 years since we gathered overnight, we anticipate a certain degree of lost momentum. We need to reconnect to former participants; we need to create awareness for those young ones who now qualify to attend but would not have a background of LAMP experience; and we need your support to reclaim commitment to the ministry from pastors and adult participants.
We invite and encourage ALL GENERATIONS to attend. This is NOT ONLY an event for youth!!!
Our guest speaker will be our National Director, Ian Fitzpatrick who has been a LAMP supporter for many years.
• REGISTRATION IS DUE BY MARCH 17
• COST IS SUBSIDIZED BY LAMP CPD
• UNDER 18 CANNOT ATTEND WITHOUT PARENTAL PERMISSION
• GROUP MUST SEND AT LEAST ONE (1) ADULT SUPERVISOR IF UDNERAGE PARTICIPANTS
• REGISTRATION IS OPEN NOW
• MASKS ARE REQUIRED WHEN INDOORS
• VACCINATION IS NOT REQUIRED BY ORDER OF THE PHO BUT WE ENCOURAGE PARTICIPANTS TO BE VACCINATED.
This LAMP Event will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 to Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Camp Charis, 13km east of Chilliwack, B.C. We will be starting at 8:00P.M. on Friday night and end at 1:00P.M. on Sunday.
