Today, we celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes.

Our Lady of Lourdes refers to the Marian apparitions reported by Saint Bernadette Soubirous in a grotto at Lourdes, France. Bernadette reported seeing the Virgin Mary, telling her to pray. During all this, her village and her family thought she was crazy.

One of the most significant moments was when Our Lady told her to drink and wash in the water from a spring. Bernadette dug into the ground until she found the slightest trace of water, which she used to drink and cleanse herself; yet, people still believed she was crazy.
The next day, a full stream appeared in front of the grotto, and that spring continues to flow to this day, and many have experienced healing through its waters.

As members of St Bernadette Parish, we recognize the significance Our Lady of Lourdes has on us as she appeared to our patron saint.

Today is also World Day of the Sick. May Our Lady continue to heal and guide us in our faith journey, just as she did with St Bernadette.

As the Christmas season is coming up very soon, weā€™re back to starting up our annual Childrenā€™s Christmas choir šŸŽ„ *Open to St Bernadette School and PREP students from Grades 3-7*

Look out for messages from the teacher/catechist or email us ([email protected]) to sign up!
IMPORTANT: Forms MUST be brought on November 7 (the very first practice) to participate. Forms brought in any later will NOT be accepted.

Parish events we are singing at this year:
- Breakfast with St. Nick: Sunday, December 7th, (Times TBA)
- CWL Seniorā€™s Lunch: Time and location TBA
- Childrenā€™s Christmas Mass: Wednesday December 24 5:00-6:00 PM

Ivana and Paige lead Youth Ministry together for years! Paige finished her run as Co-coordinator a couple years ago, and this year concluded Ivanaā€™s last run. We thank them for their dedicated hard work to help grow and lead us towards Christ. May God bless them as they continue on to do great things in the future.
