The Jatha follows a strict discipline in keeping the Rehit of Guru Gobind Singh Jee. They also enjoy an active style of Keertan recited by Sikhs in a collective manner in front of Sree Guru Granth Sahib Jee. This style of Keertan is relatively simple, and the entire congregation devotionally participates in singing along. Bhai Sahib Bhai Randheer Singh Jee embodied this lifestyle of strict persona

l discipline. He wrote many articles on Gurbaanee and the Sikh Lifestyle which we hope will inspire you as they have many of us. He was a dedicated Gursikh who fought injustice and always remained in Chardee Kalaa (high spirits).

In honour of the upcoming Parkaash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, there will be Rainsbaaee Kirtan at Gurdwara Sahib Singh Sabha on Saturday November 8 from 7PM-3AM.

All Sangat is requested to come and take maximum laha as we celebrate this amazing day when Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji came into this world.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਿਆ ਮਿਟੀ ਧੁੰਧੁ ਜਗਿ ਚਾਨਣੁ ਹੋਆ। ਜਿਉ ਕਰਿ ਸੂਰਜੁ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਤਾਰੇ ਛਪਿ ਅੰਧੇਰੁ ਪਲੋਆ।

In honour of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadar Ji’s 350th Shaheedi Purab, there will be a Smagam being organized for late November to mark this auspicious occassion 🙏. All programs will be at Khalsa School Newton. Details are as follows:

ਬਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ਬਾਣੀ ਵਿਚਿ ਬਾਣੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਸਾਰੇ ॥ ਗੁਰੁ ਬਾਣੀ ਕਹੈ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਜਨੁ ਮਾਨੈ ਪਰਤਖਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਿਸਤਾਰੇ ॥

The Bani is Guru, and Guru is the Bani. Within the Bani, the Ambrosial Nectar is contained. If His humble servant believes, and acts according to the Words of the Guru’s Bani, then the Guru emancipates him.
