Contentment changes everything!

This Sunday, we continued our Balanced series with a reminder that our financial health isn’t just about how much we earn — it’s also about what shapes our desires and how we manage what God has given us.

In a world that constantly tells us to upgrade, buy more, and keep up with everyone else, Jesus invites us to live differently!

We can be grateful for what we have today while still looking forward to what God has ahead.

We don’t have to measure our lives against someone else’s success. Our worth isn’t found in what we own, what we earn, or what we can afford.

Our identity is found in Jesus!

It’s only by the blood.

Not performance.
Not perfection.
Not striving.
Not earning.

Only the blood of Jesus.

This moment from “The Blood” is such a powerful reminder that forgiveness, righteousness, freedom, and new life are not things we achieve — they are gifts freely given through Jesus.

Five speakers. Five minutes each. One reminder: it is good to give thanks to the Lord.

This Thanksgiving Sunday, we heard from Hannah Jordan-Joel, Sarah Roberts, David Nkansah, Lola Opatayo, and David Balandy as they each shared a word on gratitude, worship, trust, and remembering the goodness of God.

Whether we’re in the waiting, walking through questions, standing in breakthrough, or simply remembering how far He has brought us — we still have a reason to say thank You, Jesus.

Happy Thanksgiving, Horizon family!

Happy Thanksgiving, Horizon family!

What a beautiful Sunday together — worship, baby dedications, two baptisms, and a reminder that it is good to give thanks to the Lord.

We love our church family so much, and we’re grateful for every story, every family, every volunteer, every moment of worship, and every life being changed by Jesus.

This Sunday, we got to celebrate new life in Christ and hear powerful reminders of God’s goodness and faithfulness in every season.

In every circumstance, we choose gratitude.
In every story, we give thanks.
In every season, we remember that God is good.

We love you, Horizon! Praying you have a Thanksgiving full of joy, rest, family, and reminders of God’s goodness.

Jesus wants you free!

This Sunday, Pastor Daniel Eliason continued our Balanced series by talking about debt, shame, and the freedom Jesus wants for every part of our lives — including our finances.

Debt can feel heavy. It can affect our peace, our marriages, our generosity, our obedience, and even the way we trust God.

But there is hope!

What lives in the dark dies in the light. You don’t have to hide, pretend, or carry it alone. Jesus has grace for where you are, wisdom for the next step, and freedom for your future.

The goal isn’t just to be debt-free. The goal is to be fully available to Jesus.

God, You are our everything!

This moment from “What A God” is such a beautiful reminder that nothing compares to the presence, glory, and love of Jesus. Not the highest place, not the best this world can offer, not anything we could chase or achieve.

Just Jesus.

He is more than enough.
He is worthy of it all.
He is our everything.

Whose money is it?

This Sunday, we continued our Balanced series by asking a simple but powerful question: are we living like owners or stewards?

Scripture reminds us that everything belongs to God, everything comes from God, and everything we have is meant to come under His loving leadership.

That means the question changes.

Not just, “What do I do with my money?”

But, “Jesus, how do You want me to manage what belongs to You?”

What a freeing invitation! We don’t have to hide in shame or figure it all out alone. Grace empowers us to face what’s true, surrender what we’re holding, and take one faithful step forward.
